Fast, totally reasonable. And no BS on the pricing either. It started as a drip along a pipe in the basement that leads to the shut-off valve for the water. Then, the drip turned into a steady stream and soaked the carpet and walls. Finally, I was bailing water and mold was moving in. Did I try to find a solution? You bet, beginning with the first drop. No one knew the answer. Not a property manager, a maintenance crew, two certified plumbers, hardware store personnel, friends, relatives, anyone who would listen. Finally I asked the opinion of a Wastewater employee who had experience with the county's flood program. Tope Plumbing saved me! So, what happened? Years ago when the duplex was built, construction workers crossed the water lines to the meters. In other words, when the water meter that is located in front of the flooded north side was tested, the meter indicated a normal reading. After Tope Plumbing tested the water meter in front of the south side, there was a leak. A big leak! Case solved!

The gentlemen that came to my house were within 15 minutes of their quote time and were very polite. I wasn't given a 5 hour window by the office, that is priceless with kids and work! They came and reset the toilet very quickly (it has worked wonderfully)! They break down their prices for every 15 minutes after their first half hour, some companies were going to charge me an extra hour! I would recommend them again to anyone!

Rick just left my house (at 10:30am on a Sunday, no less) from cleaning out our main line. He did an awesome job and these guys were so great and easy to communicate with. They seem to be a good, honest company who are literally just looking out for the best interests of their customers. We got great, unbiased advice on what was best for our situation. OUTSTANDING!!!! This is the one and only plumbing company you will ever need to call. Just as the name implies, they are affordable, but beyond that, they are also honest, knowledgeable, and fast! It’s definitely a company that believes in doing it right the first time and will not try to upsell things that are not needed or make you think that there are issues when there are not. I had an issue with my main line that I knew would need something more than a quick snake cleaning. Temporarily, the snake was needed but Rick used a camera down the line and was able to show me and diagnose the problem without a lot of speculation and hot air, like most major companies. I was so worried about such a major repair but he really put my mind at ease. Nothing was presented as critical (which I knew it wasn’t), everything was explained in great detail, and he was very open to additional questions. Although I had a minor repair today, I am scheduling ALL my future plumbing needs with Affordable Plumbing & Sewer which will include a new hot water heater, stack replacement, trenchless repair to my main line and upgrading my lines within the house. I will update my review with even more glowing reviews once the jobs have been completed. (yes, these are all repairs that have been known and needed by me before speaking to Affordable)

We live in an old house in Leawood, Kansas, and through the years we have had many plumbing companies do work. We have a shower in one of our bathrooms that we could never get working. Many guessed what might be wrong, but could never fix the shower. So we gave up on it. Mike with Heartland Plumbing said he knew what the problem was. He gave a reasonable quote, gave an exact timeline when he would be done and he would do it without tearing up the entire shower. The shower is now working after all these years. Mike finished the job within the quoted timeline and without additional cost he cleaned up after his job and removed the old plumbing.
