All Rite Plumbing Parts, Inc. was founded in October 1982 by June Castleman, who had a dream of owning her own business. Despite having no experience in the plumbing supply industry, she was determined to make her dream a reality. With her savings, her husband John's support, and an investor, Dr. Lawrence Yancey, she opened her first store in a small shopping center in Memphis, TN. Initially, June, her 16-year-old son Eddie, and her husband John ran the business. June went out to apartment owners to sell supplies, Eddie delivered orders, and John helped build shelves and provided valuable plumbing advice. The early years were challenging, but the business gradually grew, allowing June to hire her sister and sister-in-law. In 1985, the company opened a second location with a large warehouse, which is still operating today, at 1342 Overton Park. A third location was purchased on Park Avenue in 1988. Over the years, their daughter Christine and son Phillip joined the company, bringing their expertise and work ethic to the business. By then, All Rite Plumbing Parts had become a well-known plumbing parts supplier, especially for hard-to-find items. In 1995, a fourth location was added on Summer Avenue, which became the home office for business operations. The first location was closed in 1996, and the Park Avenue location in early 2022. In May 2022, All Rite Plumbing Parts expanded to Mississippi, opening its first store in the state.
