Al, a veteran who returned from World War II, honed his plumbing skills at Delgado Trade School before obtaining his license and working for a leading plumbing company in the city. Driven by his passion for the trade, he founded Al Bourgeois Plumbing & Heating, serving both residential and commercial clients in New Orleans until his passing in 1997. His dedication to his customers and his commitment to quality work laid the foundation for the company's enduring success. Brian Bourgeois, Al's son, joined the company in 1976 and managed it until his own passing in 2002. Carl Bourgeois, another son, rejoined the family business in 2002 after gaining experience managing a construction and repair company in Baton Rouge. Today, Carl oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring the company continues to uphold its legacy of excellence. Pat Trosclair, Al's daughter, has been an integral part of the company since its inception, handling the bookkeeping duties.
