  • S.E. Tradesmen Plumbing and Gas
    5
    802 North 65th Ave, Pensacola, 32506, US

S.E. Tradesmen Plumbing & Gas was founded in 2022 by two master plumbers who saw a huge need for quality, responsive plumbing services in Pensacola, FL. We kept hearing horror stories from friends and family about plumbing companies in Pensacola not returning their calls, starting a job only to disappear for days, sometimes weeks, or untrained “technicians” who were more interested in a big commission than a plumbing repair. I started my career at one of the larger plumbing companies in Pensacola. Some of the plumbers who worked there would sit in driveways watching YouTube videos on how to install a toilet! I’m not kidding. But, they were great salesmen so the plumbing company kept them around. I quickly realized that wasn’t the plumbing company for me and found one where the work culture matched my love for plumbing. I graduated from Pensacola State College’s plumbing course and was accepted into the United Association’s apprenticeship program. Being an apprentice takes five years of working on the job, under journeymen plumbers, before you can call yourself a plumber. After hearing what friends and family had to say, and from our personal experience, my partner and I realized Pensacola deserved better. We decided to build a plumbing company that the best plumbers in our area would want to call home. We provide great pay, insurance, and a retirement pension plan. We seek out only experienced, certified, or licensed plumbers who match our passion for quality workmanship and love for the trades. This is what makes us different; we’re Tradesmen, not salesmen. When you call us, you’re getting a professional who knows their job and loves fixing problems! Brandon Flowers Master Plumber CFC1431685 Plumbing Qualifications! Sewer Line Repair FAQs

Having sewer line problems? Find answers to frequently asked questions about sewer line repair and discover how to find qualified sewer line repair companies in USA using Plumbyng.

What is the difference between a sewer line and a drain line?

While both are part of the drainage system, they serve different functions:
  • Sewer Line: The main line that carries wastewater from your home or building to the municipal sewer system or a septic tank.
  • Drain Line: The pipes that connect individual fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers) to the main sewer line.
Drain line issues usually affect individual fixtures; sewer line problems affect the entire system.

What is a sewer main line?

The sewer main line is the main pipe that runs from your home or building to the city's sewer system or to your septic tank. It's the primary conduit for wastewater disposal. Damage to the main sewer line is a significant plumbing issue that requires prompt and professional attention.

What is trenchless sewer repair?

Trenchless sewer repair techniques are minimally invasive methods that avoid extensive excavation, minimizing disruption to your property. Common trenchless methods include pipe lining (inserting a new pipe inside the old one), cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) relining, and spot repairs. These methods are often more expensive upfront, but the overall costs are often lower because of reduced excavation, labor, and restoration costs. They can be a faster and more convenient approach compared to traditional methods.

What are the signs of a sewer line problem?

Common signs of sewer line issues include:
  • Slow Drains: Water drains slowly, especially in multiple drains.
  • Recurring Clogs: Frequent clogs in the same drain or multiple drains.
  • Gurgling Sounds: A gurgling noise from your drains.
  • Foul Odors: Unpleasant sewage smells emanating from drains or toilets.
  • Sewer Backups: Wastewater backing up into your home from drains or toilets.
  • Water pooling in your yard: This might indicate a leak in the sewer line.
  • Foundation Cracks: In severe cases, a collapsed sewer line can lead to foundation cracks.
  • Sinking or soft areas in your lawn: Could indicate a problem beneath the surface.
If you suspect a sewer line problem, contact a qualified professional to perform a sewer camera inspection.
