Sam became a well-known entrepreneur in that New Haven neighborhood while growing his successful business. 1933 Sam and his son, Paul, relocated the business to Legion Avenue, which at the time was a bustling commercial section of New Haven. 1946 Paul returns from military service, where he fought throughout North Africa and Western Europe during World War II. With the help of his wife Doris, they   transition the business to focus on the sale of kitchen and bath fixtures.  White’s Hardware was renamed as White’s Plumbing Supplies. 1967 White’s Plumbing Supplies moves to 582 Boston Post in West Haven, CT, becoming the first retail plumbing supplier in Connecticut to sell directly to the public. Their son Steven joins the business shortly after. 1995 White’s Plumbing Supplies launched its own private label, Whitehaus Collection, manufacturing and selling high-end kitchen and bath fixtures to around the country. 2015 Steven’s son, Jason, joined the business after spending over a decade in the finance industry. 2023 100 YEARS WHITES PLUMBING IS CELEBRATING OF BUSINESS
